I forgot to do the “what if I just want a glass” recipe when I did the earlier post.
Heat a cup of water and add 2 tablespoons of sugar, stirring till the sugar dissolves. Add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and a dash of salt (just shake the salt shaker once) and pour into a glass that’s about half full of ice. Now, your glasses may be a bit larger or smaller, so be prepared to tweak with a bit more (or less) lemon or sugar.
By the way, I heat the water so it dissolves the sugar more easily. If you don’t mind the slight graininess or are willing to stir long enough to make up for the lack of heat, it’s not necessary.
